Why do the Sherwood aldermen think that they are the only ones with a say in this matter? Voters will have the final word, and four Sherwood aldermen will be running for office this year. We need some new faces and new voices on the Sherwood City Council.
From my understanding Shelia has a "business interest" in the golf course property. She does not have a "home". As a business decision Shelia voted or not voted for what's best for her business interest. imo and correct me if I'm wrong, tia

Is there no time allowed for public comments in Sherwood City Council meetings?
I am a new resident in Sherwood. I moved here from out of state. Sherwood seems like a nice community. Where I come from, public meetings allow time for public comments. The city agenda(s) that I have seen do not have a time set for public comment.
Why the hostile attitude? It is a simple question.
John Q - normally there is a public comment period set aside at city council meetings. But, this one was a "special called meeting", and, since they already knew how they were going to vote prior to this public meeting taking place, it wasn't necessary in their eyes, for the Alderman to hear from the public. Once they make their minds up, you can't confuse them with the facts.
Well of course the administrator
deleted them. She doesn't want
anyone to know the TRUTH about
what happened, only her opinion.

Doris Anderson, If you removed these post then I have lost a lot of respect for you. I always thought you were for the citizens of sherwood. I hear now that this is your blog. Why would remove posts?
I thought that some of the posts were getting inflammatory and hostile. Maybe an administrator wants to keep things more professional on this blog.
This blog has several administrators, male and female. It is not a public forum for hostile or rude remarks. The blog was opened for reader comments, without requiring registration.
